║ These files are frequency listings I've compiled over ║
║ the past three years of scanning in the Monterey area. ║
║ A lot of these listings are based on what I've actually ║
║ heard on my scanners from my location here on the ║
║ Presidio, while I got other frequencies of local rele- ║
║ vance from lists in Monitoring Times, Popular Communi- ║
║ cations, Cliffside/Frequency Scan BBS, and from other ║
║ scanner enthusiasts. While this is admittedly a ║
║ strictly amateur production (I haven't cross-referenced ║
║ referenced my loggings with FCC records, etc.), you may ║
║ find something of use or interest here if you're going ║
║ to be doing any scanning in the Monterey area. These ║
║ lists are basically table views of my personal frequency ║
║ database files. I hope you'll be able to use them to ║
║ at least fill in a blank or two (I've got plenty of ║
║ those here) in your own database. Any suggestions or ║
║ corrections are of course welcome! ║
╟───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╢
║ Some of these listings are frequencies I've gathered on ║
║ out-of-town trips and such, so don't be wondering why ║
║ I've got frequencies for San Angelo, TX in the VHFHI ║
║ and VHFGOVT lists. The listings in the VHFAIR file ║
║ for Denver and other ARTCCs were given to me by a ║
║ neighbor who gathered them on an airplane flight back ║
║ from Illinois (the pilot piped the cockpit audio into ║
║ the passenger cabin). I've also included some (way) ║
║ out-of-area military frequencies gathered from various ║
║ sources in the VHFAERO and VHFGOVT files. Although ║
║ you're not very likely to hear these in this area, I ║
║ included them in my database because they were of par- ║
║ ticular personal interest to me at the time. ║
